3. Verify that the distance of the midpoint (xm,ym)
to (-3,6) and (9, 11) is one half the distance between (-3,6) and (9, 11)

4. Show if (x,y) = a(x1,y1) + (1-a) (x2,y2)
then the distance of (x,y) to (x1,y1) is |1-
a| D where D is the distance between (x1,y1)
and (x2,y2).
